Endless Ultra vs. mk2 vs. Classic Frames

Endless Ultra vs. mk2 vs. Classic Frames

What’s the difference between Endless Ultra, mk2, and Classic frames?

Three are three tiers of performance and price in the Endless product lineup.  Are you wondering which is right for you?  In this article we breakdown what differentiates each of these frame series.

Classic Frames

The Classic frames are the original designs for 165 and Trinity that we launched in 2020.  They feature dual setups to give skaters an enhanced ride experience for a wide range of urban and recreational skating. The 3-wheel flat setup is excellent for trail skating and distance, and 4-wheel Balanced Rocker setup is dialed in for agile city skating.  They offer the most value for the lowest cost with the classic Endless silhouette.

mk2 Frames

Our mk2 frames are enhanced/updated versions of the original 165 Classic frames with dual 3-wheel and 4-wheel setups.  They are more responsive and slightly faster than the Classic frames due to a more rigid structure, but the price point is higher due to the extra aluminum material and machining costs.  Aesthetically you’ll notice some slightly different angles and more 3D geometry.  We feel these frames sit in a sweet spot of ride comfort and predictable performance, and will be a welcome upgrade to any skate on the market.

Ultra Frames

Ultra frames have the highest level of performance in the lineup because of their ultra-rigid design.  We evolved the engineering of the mk2 frame to take it to the next level.  This resulted in a more sophisticated and stiffer structural design that includes internal bridging.   Ultra frames are optimized for a single setup and use aluminum axles instead of steel.  The price point is the highest due to more elaborate CNC machining operations.  These are the fastest, most reactive frames we offer, and we confidently feel they outperform any urban/recreational frame on the market at any price.  We believe skaters will discover this level of immediate power transfer and zero-lag control is unmatched.
