Bullet or Round profile wheels?

Bullet profile wheels provide faster speed and snappier edge transitions. Round profile wheels provide more stability at the expense of speed.  Edges feel wide and continuous.

Learn what makes this frame outperform

Better by design

The structural design of the SJR Frame is adapted directly from our previous UFS powerblading designs. Its thick walls are internally bridged to increase rigidity and allow optional Sliders to mount to both sides. For the SJR Frame, however, we optimized ride height for a single 4x84 configuration, and one-piece steel axles were chosen to simplify wheel installation and rotations.

The Sliders are made from a low-friction, high strength thermoplastic. The geometry was meticulously engineered to reduce the grinding surface while promoting positive lock on ledges and standard size rails and coping found at skate parks.

This 4x84 setup is uniquely suited for both street and park skating by taking advantage of an optimized characteristic of this wheel size. Stephen found through extensive testing that 84 mm wheels accelerate well and sustain speeds almost as fast as 90 mm wheels, but they are small enough to allow more ergonomic topside grind tricks.
