Behind the Frame: Endless 90 Origin Story
Are you curious how the Endless 90 frame came to be? Read on to learn the story “Behind the Frame”. Back in 2008 I purchased new Rollerblade Speedmachine 6.0 skates from my local shop, Black Diamond Sports, for $269. They featured a 4x90 mm setup on a 285 mm frame, Fiber Tech shell, SG9 bearings, and memory foam liner. It was like Air Jordans on wheels and was a big step up from my previous Rollerblade E Series skate (1999) with 80 mm wheels. I loved how light, fast, stable it was. I skated the crap out of it for many years and when the original 90 mm wheels were worn out I replaced them with MPC 90 mm Road War wheels…a big upgrade. Fast forward to February 2019.
FR1 Intuition Sizing
The FR1 Intuition is one of our favorite skate and liner combinations. We often get asked about how to properly size this boot since the premium Intuition liner doesn't fit like many stock stock liners. Because it's a low volume liner, many skaters can downsize into a smaller shell. To simplify the process of figuring out what size FR1 or UFR Intuition skate will fit you best we have created the following sizing quiz, which gives a recommendation based on your measured foot length and answers about how you want your skate to fit.
Twister XT vs. Twister Edge Liner Comparison
Twister XT vs. Twister Edge Boot Comparison
I recently acquired a new 2022 Rollerblade Twister XT skate setup and have been getting to know it in depth. I will be doing a deep dive on this boot and comparing to a 2019/2020 Twister Edge I own, and to my trusty FR1 Deluxe Intuition. Things are going to get nerdy. We are going to be swapping liners, weighing shells, and assessing the hardware, fit, and lacing. In first episode in the series I compare the Twister XT shell to that of the older Twister Edge and discuss design changes that affect performance and the overall skating experience.

Endless Frame Availability Update
We received a shipment of more Endless 80, 90, and 100 frames in both black and silver a couple weeks ago. We have been fulfilling all outstanding dealer and direct customer backorders, and carefully inspecting and counting our new inventory. This upcoming week we intend to add the available items to our online store so that new orders can be placed by our dealers and any customer that would like to support us directly.
Endless 84 Trinity frames are expected to arrive on 7/6/21. Once we inspect and count the parts we will begin fulfilling outstanding backorders. After we clear those orders we will make that stock available for wholesale and customer order in the following weeks. We are expecting to receive status from our vendor regarding Endless 90 and 100 Trinity frames in the coming week or so.
Endless 100 RB and Endless 110 Frame Sneak Preview
Our customers have been asking for a version of the Endless 100 that specifically fits boots like the Rollerblade Twister Edge, RB80/RB110, and better aligns with the offset mounting of Adapt boots. The new Endless 100 RB answers that call and is currently in the final stages of production. We expect to have it available by early September (or possibly sooner).
The new Endless 110 is currently in production and we hope to have it available by mid fall. When it’s available we are confident it will be the best performing urban 4x110 frame on the market.
